Every time Amy Sedaris is on the screen, portraying ditzy, fairweather friend socialite Mimi Kanasis, I laugh.

And it reminds me, this weekend I also saw a review of David Sedaris’s new book, Theft by Finding, in a magazine. I laughed out loud when I read this excerpt:
Take his friend Doug, who’s “been single for as long as I’ve known him and [who] went out recently with a guy who took him to bed and whispered, ‘Let’s pretend we’re cousins.'”
There you have it, folks. The Sedaris siblings are still working; I feel lucky to be alive!
