Last night, we had some friends over for drinks. The friends are cat lovers, so – naturally – they tried to pet ours.
Though she’d been in the mood for their love before, last night she was having none of it.
She hissed at the man. He laughed, and gave her some space.
At the end of the night, he went to pet her goodbye. Though she was not in the mood for affection, she’d been close underfoot, meowing for treats.
She hissed as he bent down. He laughed again, and then (mockingly), hissed back.
When he turned around to walk away, she extended her claws and swiped at the back of his leg, as if to say: “And stay out!”
You guys, when she wants you gone, she’ll let you know.
